Advertising on the following sites makes things quick and easy you will have to make an account on them but honestly it’s worth it. They have thread templates to make things pretty and other skins you can play with and they offer graphic and resource help when needed. They are a great tool. Now Allow me to explain the advertising rules.
In the topic area you put the name of your site, then in the topic description you put the host of your site there (for you it would be proboards)
Now, there are rules, which I would suggest you read on each site. At least scan over what they want. There is always a form that you have to fill out. Not a big deal it can bit a bit annoying but you only have to do it once and it’s worth while.
Now, most sites as well as resource sites only want ad banners that are 500px width. It makes it easier for them to handle.
The following sites are the ones I use (they bump once a week. So, I would recommend that after you post the thread you copy the link or book mark it to bump it once a week as a quick reference spot.)
